Jessica Simpson’s Star-Studded Baby Shower

Yes, Jessica Simpson is still pregnant — we'll get that out of the way right from the top. However, the mom-to-be is officially in the nesting phase, staying out of the spotlight while she waits for the arrival of her first child, and passing the time by updating her website with a collection of photos and a video of her star-studded baby shower.

Along with a handful of photos from the elaborate event, which took place in Los Angeles on March 18 and was organized by celeb event planner Mindy Weiss, the "Fashion Star" mentor shared a nearly two-minute video of the splashy celebration. While the song "I Can't Give You Anything but Love, Baby" plays, you see footage of the mom-to-be — dressed in a blue, snakeskin dress —hanging with her celebrity friends, including Jessica Alba, who brought daughter Haven, and her sister Ashlee Simpson. "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo was also on the guest list. The event space was decorated in pink and she certainly collected a lot of gifts in the same hue. With her fiancé, ex-NFL player Eric Johnson, by her side, Simpson opened gift boxes containing floral dresses, a baby bathing suit, and a pair of pink cowboy boots.

And perhaps confirming the rumors that circulated a few months back, the video ends with the camera panning from Simpson and Johnson overhead to the letter "M" that is displayed the wall. In March, just days before the shower, In Touch reported that the baby will be named Maxwell, which is Johnson's middle name and his grandmother's surname, and go by Maxi. Simpson wasn't as forthcoming with info when talking baby names with Elle, saying only: "It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it they'll know … why."

In photos Simpson included of the shower, she poses with Johnson, her mother, and her sister's son Bronx. "Creating a family is the best thing I've done in my life," she captioned one photo. The one with her mom read: "I really hope I can be half as good a mom as my mom has been to me."

According to Us Weekly, Baby Johnson will make her arrival "within the next few weeks" — and it sounds like she'll be a big little girl. Simpson told Elle that doctors estimated her baby's birth weight to be approximately 10 pounds, but that doesn't have her worried. "I figure if all these women all around the world can do it, I can do it," she told Elle. "[The baby] is in the 90th percentile of weight right now, so she's a big un. She's going to be a very big baby, but I guess that's what I get for letting a baller knock me up."

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Celebrate Fourth Anniversary in Paris

What better place to renew your vows than in Paris? That's exactly what Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon did to celebrate their fourth year as husband and wife on Friday, three days before their actual anniversary, April 30 -- which also happens to be the first birthday of their twins Monroe and Moroccan. With the Eiffel Tower as their backdrop, Carey -- in a white satin mermaid-style gown with a black bow -- beamed as a white suit-clad Cannon got down on one knee, took her hand, and looked into her eyes during the intimate ceremony at La Maison Blanche hotel.Before they jetted off to the French capital, the "America's Got Talent" host hinted that he and his superstar wife were planning something "special and unique" -- and it looks like they achieved their goal with the lavish celebration.

 

Just hours before they said "I do" for the fourth time, the lovebirds did some shopping for "Dem Babies" (the twins' nicknames) at -- where else -- Baby Dior. When they weren't perusing the chic clothing, they stopped for smooches for the cameras. A year ago, the two were not only celebrating the birth of their son and daughter, but also their third anniversary, which they marked with a vow renewal right there in Carey's hospital room.

The "We Belong Together" singer is so convinced she and Cannon will be together forever, she has even named her new perfume "Forever" in their honor. So what's their secret? "Nobody can predict the future," said Cannon to promote his wife's new fragrance. "You just have to give your all to the relationship you're in and do your best to take care of your partner, communicate and give them every last drop of love you have. I think one of the most important things in a relationship is caring for your significant other through good times and bad."

Cannon and Carey have certainly weathered some bad times recently when he suffered kidney failure in January and had to be rushed to the hospital. As a result of the health scare, the "America's Got Talent" host has had to scale back on his work and even quit his morning radio program. "You go through difficult times, but as long as you hang on to the beautiful things, it's great," Cannon adds. "Even when it's rough, it's real."

Not many people would have predicted that Carey, 42, and the 11-years-younger Cannon would have made it this long — especially since they married after only knowing each other six weeks — but he says their love was a long time in the making. Recalling the first time they met, Cannon says, "I presented her with an award at the [2005] Kid's Choice Awards.

I was so nervous but decided to take my chances and give her a kiss on the cheek! I had to have that kiss." Three years later, Carey cast him as her love interest in her music video "Bye Bye" — and the rest is history. "Mariah is a beautiful and talented person, and I've had a crush on her for as long as I can remember," Cannon continues. "Every day, my respect for Mariah continues to grow higher. She's a caring, warm and funny person. People have no idea how funny she is! I feel like I've always known she was my forever love."

And now model Miranda Kerr has revealed how daily 30-minute yoga sessions and a 'super healthy' diet help hone her slender 5ft 9 inch frame.

Following the birth of her son Flynn last year she has also started experimenting with resistance training, a method favoured by a number of Hollywood stars including Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba.

'I have been working out quite a bit doing Pilates and yoga and strength training with weights and resistant bands and I eat super healthy.

'Health is really wealth I think.'

Demonstrating how yoga has made her body more flexible, Kerr pulls her lithe leg up behind her head for one shot, arching her back while gazing over her shoulder at the camera.

'If I’m in the car on the way to work or if I'm on the plane on the way to a job I’ll do a meditation,' she added.

Her husband Orlando Bloom has also credited the practice and the philosophies behind it for helping him to avoid the self-destructive path so common in the film industry.

The Reebok campaign, which features 3D images of the model, was shot by famed photographer Rankin, and fans can view the full effects with 3D glasses.

But Emma Watson has bared even more flesh on location in Los Angeles today.

The 21-year-old was seen on set in not only a pair of tiny Daisy Dukes, but also a lace midriff top which bared her very flat tummy.

She also revealed a new tattoo, a sprawling 'tramp stamp' on her lower back that has been painted on for her new rebellious role. 

 

The Bling Ring were a group of mostly teenagers based around Calabasas, California who burgled the homes of several stars, including Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox, Rachel Bilson, Ashley Tisdale and Lindsay Lohan.

Emma plays a character named Nicki who has an ex-Playboy model mother, played by Leslie Mann, who schools her two daughters on the importance of finding fame.

Emma was filming scenes on the Venice Beach boardwalk and her character was seen selling designer bags.

Designer items were stolen from the likes of Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson and Orlando Bloom by members of the notorious Bling Ring.

She was also seen lounging in a chair soaking up the sun as she went through her phone.
Between takes, Emma slipped on a quilted long jacket to shield herself from the cooler beach air.

Earlier in the day, she was seen fully morphed into a typical American teenager as she strolled around the streets of Hollywood carrying an expensive Hermès Birkin bag while clutching a Starbucks drink.

And no rich socialite would be complete without their posse in tow.

Emma was joined by equally-immaculately dressed actresses and a young actor as they filmed scenes for the movie based on the real-life group which targeted celebrities' homes in 2008 and 2009.

As well as a white fur gilet, Emma donned a pair of black skinny jeans and towering peep-toe heels. She was also still sporting long brown hair extensions.

Earlier this week, Emma was seen hanging around outside infamous Lynwood jail in Los Angeles as she filmed scenes.

She checked into jail - where Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie also served time - after being found guilty of burgling celebrities' houses.

Ironically Lohan was also an inmate at Lynwood two years ago at the same time as Alexis Neiers - one of the convicted gang members.

The Sofia Coppola project commenced filming in late March and is set for release next year.

It is the second time the story will be portrayed on film, as a Lifetime movie starring Austin Butler and Jennifer Grey was shown on television last year.

And it appears filming is going well as Watson wrote on Twitter last week: 'Filming Bling Ring is going great. As Israel would say 'we are slaying this!'. Thanks for the good luck messages.'
Last month it emerged that Watson had to put her dream of building an eco-friendly clothing empire on hold because her line for ethical label People Tree had failed to sell.

Emma, who has also collaborated with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti in the past, is now concentrating on her studies at Oxford University instead.

A source close to the actress and model said, 'Emma was so disappointed.
‘But even at knockdown prices, the clothes were still sitting on the shelves. She’s also stalled on plans to do more with Ferretti because she doesn’t have time.’
